For the latest edition of the Top 5 Movie Guide, we look to this weekend's "Resident Evil: Retribution" for inspiration. Only the most rose-tinted geek would put "Tron" among the top sci-fi films. But "TRON" was undeniably revolutionary in its use of visuals, and holds up remarkably well as spectacle today. The film hit theaters 30 years ago today, thus @indiewire has assembled five really interesting facts about the film and its production.
